Spencer,

I really think you guys should look at the talking sign technology that I mentioned in class. Here's a couple of websites that might start you off. Don't forget to look into Smith Kettlewell also.

Very nice..

We defnitely need to look out for and be aware of the WSMV syndrome. Some feel that this is one of the things that makes public access television terrible and is one of the problems with the blogging world (as you mentioned). I think that when it comes to networked media, the good naturally raises to the top and more people are exposed to it. Through trackbacks and the "meta-filter" blogs the good posts come out leaving the rest behind. This happens with Audio blogging and podcasting as well.

Great video. Nice integration of music, video and text. I'd like to see your source code to see how you did it.

I liked your video.

I actually played your game during last semester's show, although I didn't really know what I was doing being completely clueless when it comes to video games.

It might be nice if your text could be "grabbed" somehow - off of the video or an associated web page.

The music and the video really work well together I think because the audio was of high quality.

Thanks Spencer.. Looks great and works well!

Couple of questions:

What are the specs of the video compression you used?

Did you think about moving the region that the text is in over a bit to justify it that way instead of within the QTtext file?

Would you mind putting up a link directly to the SMIL and QTText file so that it is easy for everyone to take a look at and learn from?
